Find out about Haringey's network of advice providers
A network of voluntary and statutory organisations with an interest in the provision of information and advice to the people living and working in the London Borough of Haringey
The Network arranges quarterly meetings which provide opportunities for the face to face exchange of information and ideas. The meetings contribute to professional updating of individuals, enable organisations to share best practice and provide a forum for new services to raise awareness of their activities within the advice community.
In between meetings, the HANDY bulletin keeps members fully informed with brief updates and links to more detailed information on our website. Members can also use the Network to promote their own events, issues etc.
Involvement in the Network ensures that your organisation is informed about any opportunities to contribute to policy development at local, regional and national level.
All Network members will be able to join Good Advice! Haringey to get involved in the peer to peer discussion forum, join the inter-agency referral network etc.
No. Although the Network will focus on information and issues; the importance on non-advice organisations which might signpost people from across Haringey’s diverse communities cannot be overstated. If your organisation – and particularly perhaps your service users – can benefit from involvement in the Network: please join!
Membership of the Network is free of charge and there is no requirement to attend meetings etc.. However the Network will be more useful to all members where there are higher levels of active involvement.
